Overview

Lead Installer position at Blue Ridge Heating & Air. First-year potential: $70,000+ based on performance. 4-day work week. Blue Ridge Heating & Air has over 20 years of experience serving the Greenville, SC, and Brevard, NC areas. We are dedicated to home comfort and quality with installation, maintenance, and repair.

Responsibilities
  • Lead installations of residential HVAC systems and assist in training junior team members.
  • Lead a complete heat pump or air-conditioner/furnace change-out following industry, manufacturer, and company practices.
  • Install HVAC-related equipment according to manufacturer s specifications.
  • Wire line and low voltage to heating and cooling equipment.
  • Install copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including soldering and brazing.
  • Install sheet metal and flex duct systems in residential and light commercial buildings.
  • Pre-measure jobs to identify proper materials required for install.
  • Receive, verify, and load all equipment and materials required for install.
  • Demonstrate and establish effective working relationships with co-workers and superiors.
  • Properly fill out all forms required for each job.
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned company vehicle.
  • Any other assigned duties as directed by management.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • EPA Certification Required.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Lead Installer.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems frequently encountered in support of HVAC systems.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Self-motivated but able to take direction and be part of a team.
  • Honest and dependable.
  • Valid, insurable driver s license; must pass a drug screening and background check.
