Acute Care Registered Nurse Location

Brevard, NC

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

We are seeking a dedicated Acute Care Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role involves collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals and utilizing advanced medical technologies to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an acute care setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and manage IV therapy.
• Perform procedures including IV starts, Foley catheter placements, and EKG monitoring.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in daily team meetings to discuss patient care, treatments, and discharge needs.

• Must be a Registered Nurse with current licensure.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification must be completed prior to the end of orientation.
• Preferred: candidates with ICU/Stepdown experience and at least one year of med/surg experience.
