Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring at least one year of recent specialty experience and a NC or compact RN license.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital-based Medical/Surgical Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Care for acute adult patient population with progressive care/telemetry needs
- Overnight shifts from 6:45PM to 7:15AM
- Assignment duration is 13 weeks
- No local candidates accepted within a 50 mile radius
- Must care for patients with acute and progressing medical needs and monitor telemetry
- Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as part of the work schedule
- Scrub requirements and other facility-specific details will be provided upon offer
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply if meeting experience requirements
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in PCU or telemetry nursing
- Valid AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications that will not expire within 30 days of assignment start
- Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Must provide US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Professional reference required (two if licensed in FL or MO, otherwise one)
- Complete submission profile including skills checklist, license verification, and copies of certifications
