Performs all facets of cardiac ultrasound testing for the noninvasive laboratory of Cardiology Services, including two‑dimensional, Doppler, transesophageal and stress echocardiography.

• Required
  
  Education:
  
  Graduate from an accredited cardiac sonography program or have practiced as a sonographer for greater than 2 years.
• Required License:
  Must be a Registered Cardiac Sonographer with Cardiovascular Credentialing International or the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers; or be registry eligible and obtain registry within one year of employment. BCLS (Adult).
• Preferred License: ACLS (Adult).
• Required Experience:
  
  Cardiology Echo – 2 years practicing as a sonographer. Physician Practice – 0‑2 years experience; will accept new graduates.
• Preferred Experience:
  
  5 years practicing as a sonographer.
