Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Director of Sales for a newly opening, nationally branded extended‑stay hotel. This is a full‑time, onsite leadership role based in the Brentwood area.

Position Overview

This Director of Sales role offers the opportunity to lead pre‑opening sales efforts for a new hospitality property and establish a strong market presence from day one. The position is responsible for driving top‑line rooms revenue, building local and regional partnerships, and positioning the hotel competitively within its market. This role will focus heavily on extended‑stay demand, corporate negotiated rates, and local business and small group opportunities at opening.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and execute a pre‑opening sales strategy focused on rooms revenue, extended‑stay accounts, corporate negotiated rates, and local business demand
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, extended‑stay partners, and community organizations
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach, sales blitzes, and relationship‑based selling
  • Analyze market trends, demand segments, and competitive data to inform pricing and positioning
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sales initiatives with operational and financial goals
  • Maintain accurate sales reporting, forecasting, and consistent follow‑up with key accounts
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in hotel or hospitality sales, particularly in rooms‑focused or extended‑stay environments
  • Strong relationship‑building skills with a consultative and community‑oriented approach
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative leadership team
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage priorities in a pre‑opening environment
  • Comfortable using sales tools, reporting systems, and standard business software
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This role offers a competitive base salary of $85,000–$95,000, with eligibility for up to a 25% annual performance‑based bonus tied to overall hotel performance.
