Overview
A national, mission-driven healthcare organization is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations and manage a team of Senior Accountants. This role is ideal for a hands-on people leader who enjoys mentoring teams, owning the close process, and partnering closely with leadership.
Responsibilities- Lead month-end close, journal entry review, and reconciliations
- Manage and develop a team of Senior Accountants
- Oversee general ledger accuracy and financial reporting
- Partner with leadership on audits, tax filings, and ad-hoc reporting
- Drive process improvements and help streamline accounting operations
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager (or strong Senior ready to step up)
- Solid full-cycle GL and close experience
- Strong people leadership and coaching skills
- Healthcare experience a plus, but not required
- Very flexible hybrid schedule (in office only a handful of days per month)
