Responsibilities- You’ll serve as an advisor and advocate for a portfolio of personal lines clients, ensuring each household receives proactive, exceptional service.
- You’ll manage renewals, coverage changes, and retention with confidence while leveraging your product knowledge to identify gaps, improve protection, and deliver peace of mind.
- Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Manage a book of personal lines business with attention and care
- Proactively review renewals and negotiate with carriers to ensure competitive coverage/pricing and present options to insureds
- Analyze coverage and compare / present options to insureds
- Build long-term client relationships through consultative conversations and responsiveness
- Assist clients with new policies, changes, and claims with empathy and urgency
- Educate clients on coverage options and risk prevention strategies
- Identify opportunities for cross-sell and rounding out accounts
- Partner with team, agency leadership, and underwriters to ensure smooth execution and high client satisfaction
- Remain current on carrier appetite, market trends, and technology tools
- Work with high-net worth clients
- 3+ years’ experience in an Independent Agency (IA channel), personal lines account management
- Deep knowledge of carriers, coverage forms, and rating practices
- Active P&C license, Life License preferred
- Proficiency in the agency s management system, AMS
360 and Microsoft Office - Exceptional communication, organization, and follow-through
- Ability to manage renewals and retention strategies independently
- A genuine care for people — championing relationships and getting it done right
