First Light Home Care provides quality non-medical in-home care for seniors requiring companionship and personal care. Our practice is guided by our Culture of Care, which promises service excellence to our employees and clients. We recognize that our Caregivers are the most vital members of our team in delivering this commitment.

We support our Caregivers by offering:

Client location and schedule:
Belle Meade, Friday and Saturday, 8 pm to 8 am.

• Client Diagnosis: Alzheimer's dementia; the client is placid with mobility issues due to right leg weakness.
• Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Prepared meals; self-feeding; hydration support; offers drinks throughout the day.
• Mobility: Assistance with transfers using gait belt as needed, especially in the afternoons.
• Bathing/Showering: Standby assistance required.
• Communication: Clear and understandable speech.
• Toileting: Client can communicate when assistance is needed.

• Minimum 1 year experience as an in-home Caregiver, CNA, or related experience with a loved one or family member.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid Driver's License and auto insurance.
• Consent to background checks (criminal, elder abuse, motor vehicle, sex offender).
• Consent to drug and alcohol testing.
• TB test required.
