Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Designer located in the Brentwood, TN area. The Junior Designer will be responsible for contributing to design projects and delivering exceptional design services to a roster of clients. The Junior Designer will be collaborating in all phases of design from concept through installation and will be working alongside the Principle Designers and Design Assistants.
Responsibilities- Identify design needs, create design concepts, and develop design solutions that align with the client's vision and requirements
- Participate and support design team in all phases of multiple design projects from development through installation
- Assist with sourcing of furniture, fabrics, fixtures, and finishes in line with client needs, the Principal Designer’s vision and project budget
- Prepare presentation materials and assist in presenting designs to clients and other consultants
- Provide input and help manage scope, scheduling, and budget requirements of each project
- Prepare and maintain supporting documents such as finish schedules, specifications, furnishing budgets, product/room matrices, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a residential interior design firm
- Demonstrated experience in AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office, building materials, and construction techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality design projects that meet client expectations and timelines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- AutoCAD (daily)
- Microsoft Office
- Quick Books (vendor and budget tracking)
- Sketch Up & Canva experience is a plus

Based on experience
