Accounts Receivable Specialist Overview

Our client is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support payment application, collections, and account reconciliation in a fast‑paced, growing organization. This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, adaptable, and comfortable handling a high volume of transactions while partnering cross‑functionally.

• Apply customer payments accurately and reconcile accounts
• Perform daily cash application and cash management activities
• Research and resolve deductions, discrepancies and chargebacks
• Follow up on past‑due accounts and support collections efforts
• Maintain accurate documentation and support audits as needed
• Contribute to process improvements and special projects

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's preferred)
• 1‑2 years of Accounts Receivable and/or Collections experience
• Understanding of the order‑to‑cash cycle
• Experience working with ERP systems (multiple systems a plus)
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment
• Experience in a multi‑entity or manufacturing environment preferred
