Accounting Manager - Inter Accounting

Position: Accounting Manager - Intercompany Accounting
Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager specializing in Intercompany Accounting to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This hybrid role, based in Brentwood, Tennessee, offers the opportunity to oversee complex financial processes and manage high-volume transactions across multiple entities. Responsibilities:

- Oversee the intercompany accounting process for over 200 entities, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation.

- Manage month-end close activities, including distributing and booking entries for multiple groups and entities.

- Communicate effectively with entities to resolve booking discrepancies and ensure proper financial reporting.

- Handle accruals and prepaids, ensuring compliance with established accounting standards.

- Balance high volumes of intercompany transactions, maintaining accuracy and efficiency throughout the process.

- Utilize D365 software to post journal entries and adjust transactions as needed.

- Perform detailed account reconciliations, including balance sheet and ledger accounts.

- Ensure all intercompany transactions are accurately reflected in the general ledger.

- Collaborate with shared services teams to maintain smooth financial operations. Requirements - Proven experience in intercompany accounting, managing transactions across multiple entities.

- Strong knowledge of month-end close processes, including journal entry adjustments and account reconciliations.

- Proficiency in using accounting software, with experience in D365 preferred.

- Demonstrated ability to handle high volumes of transactions efficiently and accurately.

- Exceptional communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external entities.

- Expertise in accruals, prepaids, and general ledger management.

- Background in shared services or similar environments is highly desirable.

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage complex accounting processes.
