Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of our financial records by ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in full compliance with GAAP standards.
As a Staff Accountant, you will gain comprehensive exposure to the entire accounting ecosystem—including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Treasury, and General Ledger (GL) functions—making this an ideal role for a professional looking to broaden their operational expertise.
Responsibilities- Financial Reporting & Month-End Close:
Execute precise journal entries and prepare financial reports within established monthly deadlines. - Account Reconciliation:
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, proactively investigating and resolving any variances. - Revenue Cycle Management:
Manage the creation of monthly invoices and ensure the accurate application of cash payments. - Audit & Tax Support:
Prepare quarterly deliverables for external reporting and assist in providing documentation for internal/external audits and tax compliance. - Operational Support:
Support the daily workflows of the AP, AR, and Treasury departments. - Special Projects:
Lead or assist with ad-hoc financial projects and other duties as assigned to support departmental growth.
