Job Summary
A client of Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to support their custom signage operations. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for a variety of signage projects, including ADA signage, large-scale monument signs, and dimensional letter sets. The Estimator plays a key role in maintaining project profitability and supporting a fast-paced production schedule. Candidates should have prior experience in construction or fabrication estimating and a solid understanding of materials, labor, and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine project requirements

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and subcontracted services

• Collaborate with internal leadership to align estimates with project goals and timelines

• Assist in bid preparation and submission for commercial signage projects

• Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and vendor quotes

• Communicate with suppliers to obtain current pricing and lead times

• Support project handoff to the Project Management team

• Track and update estimates throughout the project lifecycle

Required Skills & Experience

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Drafting, Business, or Project Management, or equivalent experience

• 3+ years of estimating experience in construction, signage, or fabrication industries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Strong analytical and mathematical skills with high attention to detail

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with signage materials, fabrication processes, and installation methods
