Responsibilities- Assist the Assistant Vitamin/HBA Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
- Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Vitamin/HBA team.
- Effectively coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through ongoing planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
- Lead a team that provides the highest level of service and the greatest experience for customers.
- Ensure customers receive the best possible service and assistance with vitamins, supplements, and health and beauty products.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of vitamins, supplements, and related products, providing guidance without prescribing.
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, developing, mentoring, and motivating the Vitamin team.
- Unload and sort through store deliveries.
- Execute all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and validate that other team members are also aware of and following these procedures.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Minimum 1 year of vitamin, homeopathy, or holistic experience with leadership duties; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Dependable and reliable, with the ability to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude, and ability to interact with customers.
- Strong communication skills, able to give and receive direction while maintaining a team environment.
- Perform general housekeeping in the department; clean and dust.
- Adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations.
- Willing to gain education on new products and alternative health.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills.
- Physical ability to lift, stack, and maneuver heavy objects up to 50 lbs., walk up to 3 miles in an 8‑hour shift, and other related duties.
- Other related duties as assigned.
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $29.15 per hour. Sprouts Farmers Market determines pay based on applicable experience and qualifications of the applicant.
