Overview
ABA Behavioral Aide - Brentwood role at Ro Health. This position focuses on providing behavioral support using Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) strategies in a school setting for students from pre-K to high school. Previous experience with students with special needs is beneficial but not required, as entry level positions are available.
Work is in a school setting with 1:1 or general classroom supports, depending on assignment.
Responsibilities- Provide support in either a 1:1 capacity or as general classroom support.
- Communicate calmly, clearly, and concisely with both children and adults.
- Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods as needed.
- Occasionally bend, crouch, and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Potential toileting/diapering assistance as required.
- Associate’s degree preferred; high school diploma (or equivalent) required.
- Experience in childcare and/or ABA preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
- Passion for supporting students in the learning process.
- Strong assessment skills; ability to work well in a team environment.
