Overview
TXM Recruit is working in partnership with a leading UK engineering surveying consultancy, part of a wider infrastructure group, to recruit Surveyors for their regional office in Brentwood. Our client is a national engineering surveying business delivering topographical, measured building, underground utility, monitoring and site engineering surveys across a network of ten UK offices. Their teams support major construction and infrastructure projects, providing the engineering certainty required to deliver complex schemes safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities- Delivers topographical and measured building surveys of varying size and complexity to a high standard
- Take the lead on large and complex projects, coordinating multiple survey teams
- Provides clear technical guidance and instructions to team members
- Processes multi-dataset survey information, including topographical and building data
- Maintains survey instrumentation and equipment to required standards
- Carries out site inspections and dynamic risk assessments
- Ensures delivery meets health, safety, quality and programme requirements
- Supports the development of trainee, junior and technician-level surveyors

- 3+ years' experience in land, topographical or measured building surveying
- Proven ability to deliver topographical surveys independently
- Experience with measured building surveys using laser scanners and/or traditional methods
- Strong data processing and CAD skills
- Professional and confident communicator
- Strong health & safety awareness
- Motivated to develop a long-term career within a growing surveying business
- Minimum 5 GCSEs, including Maths & English (Grade C / 4 or above)
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
