Teacher Active is working in partnership with a well-established FE college in Chelmsford to recruit an experienced Media Studies Lecturer for a long-term position. This role is ideal for a committed educator who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching within further education.

The Successful Media Studies Lecturer Will:

Deliver Media Studies across Level 2 and Level 3 courses

Plan engaging lessons that meet awarding body specifications

Support learners with coursework, assessment, and progression

Track student progress and maintain accurate records

Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)

Experience teaching Media Studies within FE or post-16 education

Strong subject knowledge and organisational skills

The ability to engage and motivate diverse learners

Industry experience (desirable but not essential)
