Brentwood School is seeking to appoint an experienced and highly organised Learning Support Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the SENDCo and Exams Access Coordinator. The role includes supporting SEND audits, maintaining the LS register, preparing evidence for exam access arrangements, helping with the literacy screening for Years 9 and 12, liaising with staff on student progress, assisting with exam arrangements, learning plan reviews, correspondence, and organising primary school visits for prospective pupils.
Responsibilities include:
- Support SEND audits and maintain the Learning Support register.
- Prepare evidence for exam access arrangements.
- Assist with literacy screening for Years 9 and 12.
- Coordinate with staff on student progress and learning plan reviews.
- Handle correspondence and organise primary school visits for prospective pupils.
- Assist with exam arrangements.
Qualifications and skills:
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in a school.
- Strong organisational, communication and IT skills.
- Excellent written English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience handling confidential information sensitively.
- Commitment to safeguarding and continuous development.
