Part Time Parks Maintenance Worker

20 Hours per Week or Less

Hourly rate: $12.00

Maintains and repairs park athletic fields and facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Maintains and prepares parks and athletic fields for public use;
• Operates lawn equipment;
• Repairs and replaces vital facility sports equipment, including nets, batting cages, and wind screens;
• Assists other city departments as needed; and
• Maintains and cleans park grounds on a weekend basis such as cleaning public restrooms and removing litter.

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Class C driver's license.
• Applicants must be at least 17 years of age.

The job duty age requirements are:

• Must be at least 17 years of age to operate most park maintenance equipment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to operate City equipment on public roadways.
