Job Description
GENERAL ACCOUNTING CLERK
Monday - Thursday
8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Friday
8:00 am - 12:00 pm
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Accurately post accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions
- Process customer payments and credits in a timely manner
- Communicate courteously and professionally with customers to resolve accounting inquiries
- Maintain organized and accurate financial filing systems
- Enter daily financial transactions into Quick Books
- Reconcile bank statements and customer accounts
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Minimum of 2 years of clerical or administrative experience
- Accounts payable and/or accounts receivable experience required
- At least 1 year of Quick Books experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately with numerical data
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office equipment
