Family Programs offered by Washington Military Department's Joint Services Support
From I-5, take exit 122, follow the signs to Camp Murray gate.
Active Duty Military Service Members, as well as members of the National Guard and Reserve from all branches of the US Armed Forces, and at all stages of their careers, including veterans. Family members of people in these groups also qualify.
Intake Form and Army Statement of Understanding required. Other application processes will vary depending on the needs of the client. Call for more information. Also provides services via email and in person.

DescriptionOffers a toolbox of resources to work with military families on personal issues that require guidance on a case‑by‑case basis. Families are referred to the appropriate community services for assistance. There are Family Assistance Specialists stationed throughout the state, at local armories. They assist service members and their families in the areas of:
- Crisis intervention and counseling referral
- Tricare medical and dental resource and referral
- Legal resource and referral
- and Defense Enrollment Eligibility
- Financial resource and referral
- Community information and referral
- Military benefits
- Service Member pay
- Communications
- Deployment/mobilization support
- Property and household issues
Also works with community outreach/partnerships to provide:
- Holiday support
- Back to school supplies and essentials for children/youth
