Seeking experienced Dialysis RNs for an in-center hemodialysis travel nursing job serving patients with chronic kidney disease on the Puget Sound peninsula.   • Shift: 10-13 hour AM and PM shifts, Monday through Saturday (flexibility required)
Job Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license from the WA State Board of Nursing or a Multi-State Compact Nurse license
  • Current certification of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with a Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers card with American Heart Association
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
  • Previous dialysis experience required (in-center hemodialysis experience preferred)
  • Prior acute care or ambulatory nursing experience preferred
  • Ability to travel and work across multiple clinics on the Kitsap Peninsula
  • Flexibility to work AM or PM shifts and occasional Saturdays as needed
Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, high-quality dialysis treatments in an in-center hemodialysis setting
  • Assess patients with chronic kidney disease and monitor clinical status during treatments
  • Perform or oversee vascular access care (fistula/graft assessment and cannulation) and infection-control practices
  • Administer medications and document treatments according to protocols and EMR/charting standards
  • Provide patient and family education on dialysis care, lifestyle, and chronic kidney disease management
  • Supervise and mentor Dialysis Technicians to ensure adherence to care standards and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nephrologists, dietitians, and social workers
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and clinic performance
