We are looking for a Development Coordinator to join our team! This position manages the agency's volunteer program, acting as the primary contact for all volunteers, facilitating orientation, and ensuring appropriate documentation is completed. This role is also the subject matter expert on the organization's donor database and is responsible for its accuracy and integrity. The Development Coordinator supports the organization's visibility and engagement through the development and production of marketing materials, digital content, and communications.
This position ensures consistent branding and messaging across print and digital platforms, coordinates marketing projects, and vendor relationships. Additionally, this position assists in special events and the coordination of the Fund Development Committee.

Work Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–3 years of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, or donor relations
- Proven experience with donor database management (Donor Perfect, Salesforce, Raiser's Edge, Little Green Light) or CRM systems
- Experience developing or implementing volunteer orientation or training programs
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate volunteers and support outreach or stewardship events
- Experience managing data entry, gift processing, and donor acknowledgments with accuracy and confidentiality
- Strong record of collaboration across departments, especially with communications and program staff
- Experience supporting event logistics, such as donor receptions, sever outreach, or fundraising campaigns
- Familiarity with annual giving campaigns, donor segmentation, and tracking/Foundation donor engagement metrics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for donor correspondence, volunteer recruitment, and outreach materials
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced nonprofit environment
Certifications:
- Valid Washington State driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of required personal liability automobile insurance
