Summary
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the NAVFAC Resident Officer in Charge of Construction (ROICC) Puget of NAVFAC NORTHWEST in support of the Shipyard Infrastructure Optimization Program (SIOP).
Duties- You will assign work, resolve complaints, identify training needs, and evaluate performance.
- You will ensure consistent and comprehensive coordination of the construction quality management program for assigned construction projects.
- You will evaluate and assure the quality control (QC) efforts of the construction contractor for all projects assigned.
- You will attend selective quality control, preparatory and initial meetings to spot check compliance with contract requirements and establish consistency for the office.
- You will ensure contractor compliance of safety and health requirements.
- You will maintain situational awareness and assist in coordination of OSHA jobsite visits.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS‑11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees.
