Locum Tenens Urologist ??? Near Bremerton, WA We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist for a locum tenens opportunity near Bremerton, WA. This position offers a chance to provide comprehensive urology care in both a clinic and on-call setting. We are looking for a provider who can handle a wide variety of general urology cases and is comfortable working in both a clinic and hospital environment.
This is an ASAP - Ongoing assignment, and the duration is expected to be between 3-4 months. Key Details:

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Call Requirements: 24-hour call, 1 in 6 rotation (5-6 days per month) Setting:
Combination of clinic and hospital call Practice Setting:
Urology clinic and hospital, robot-assisted surgeries available Assignment Duration: 3-4 months
Duties and Responsibilities:
General Urology Care:
Provide routine urological procedures and care, including diagnosis and treatment for a variety of general urology conditions. Surgeries:
Perform approximately 20-30 surgeries per month, with access to robotics for procedures. Patient Volume:
Expect to see 20-25 patients per day in the clinic. Call Duties: 24-hour call coverage, with a mix of 20% consults and 80% callbacks. Hospitalist teams are present for admissions. Rounding:
Provider will be responsible for rounding as needed. Required Procedures:
Bread and Butter Urology:
Handling general urological cases and performing routine procedures. Robotic Surgery:
Robot-assisted procedures are available for more complex cases, but not required. Certification and Licensing:
Board Certification:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology. State License:
Active Washington State License required.
Certifications:
BLS and DEA required. Additional Information: EMR System:
Epic (experience with Epic preferred). Support Staff:
The urology team is supported by nurses, techs, and hospitalist teams for rounding and admissions. Orientation:
The clinic manager will provide a full clinic tour and orientation before the start date. Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a patient-focused approach, excellent communication skills, and experience in general urology.
