The Role
Kitsap Credit Union is searching for a Business Consultant II to work in‑person out of our Harborside office in Bremerton. This mid‑level role supports a mix of inside sales and proactive service activities for business members. The Business Consultant II conducts relationship calls, recommends products, and handles business loan requests and service installations with some autonomy.

- Bonus Target: 5% potential incentive of base pay
- Working Hours:
Monday – Friday 8 AM – 5 PM - Grade: 8BC
- Industry: Banking
- Respond to incoming leads and service requests from branches, the contact center, and business members within committed SLAs.
- Open business accounts, generally for businesses with up to 20 employees and/or $2 MM in gross annual sales, including cash management onboarding and merchant services needs assessment and referrals.
- Understand entity documents and business financials.
- Independently submit and manage non‑real‑estate secured business loan applications up to $100,000.
- Conduct routine financial reviews and needs assessments.
- Onboard for cash management and merchant services, including in‑person visits and member training.
- Maintain a prospect pipeline and conduct timely follow‑ups.
- Begin to develop expertise in select industries to provide more tailored guidance, deepen member relationships, and enhance strategic growth efforts.
- Provide support to frontline staff on standard business banking questions.
- Specialize in certain industries with targeted solutions.
- Conduct outbound relationship calls to assigned members for service follow‑up and cross‑sell opportunities.
- Deepen understanding of business deposit and business loan products, cash management, and merchant services.
- Represent the credit union at events during working hours, evenings, or on the weekend.
- Achieve established sales and referral goals by effectively promoting business and personal banking solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless member experience.
- High school education or equivalent.
- 1+ years of consumer lending experience.
- 2+ years of experience assisting businesses with their banking needs in a branch or business banking department.
