Set in the beautiful Brecon Beacons, The Mountains Care Home provides 24‑hour nursing and residential care for adults aged 65+ living with dementia, Alzheimer’s, and mental health needs. Our home is known for its warm atmosphere, strong teamwork, and commitment to dignity and quality care.

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Care Assistant to join our dedicated team. This role involves working a mixture of day and night shifts and offers the opportunity to provide meaningful, person‑centred care in a calm and supportive environment.

• Support residents with their daily needs, ensuring comfort, safety, and wellbeing.
• Provide personal care with dignity and respect.
• Assist with meals, hydration, mobility, and daily routines.
• Follow individual care plans and promote independence.
• Offer companionship, reassurance, and emotional support.
• Work flexibly across day and night shifts as part of a rota.

• NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (preferred).
• Experience in a care setting (essential).
• Desirable: experience in nursing care and/or EMI environments.
• Knowledge and experience of supporting people living with dementia.
• Kind, patient, and professional approach.
• Flexible to work days, alternate weekends, and bank holidays.
