Maintenance Mechanic

BLISS Car Wash is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our rapidly growing team.

Base pay: $65,000.00/yr – $/yr. $1,500 sign‑on bonus.

At BLISS we make a difference one car at a time. We are passionate, positive, and focused on delivering excellent service while preserving water resources. This role involves maintaining and repairing a range of automotive equipment in our car wash.

• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, plumbing, and mechanical issues and determine repair processes.
• Complete repairs as needed.
• Analyze reported issues, fix them, or create parts lists and order parts when required.
• Assist in installation of new equipment and replacement of old equipment.
• Identify potential issues with equipment, create work orders, and run equipment through cycles to ensure proper function.
• Repair structural issues that need welding.
• Maintain company assets (service vehicles, tools, equipment).
• Assist other departments on site with installation of marketing, safety, or operational equipment.
• Complete company forms and reports accurately (work records, time logs, site visits).
• Be dispatched via work orders or calls.
• Transport equipment supplies or tools between sites as needed.
• Stay current on equipment changes via maintenance manuals and service bulletins.
• Complete expense reports and gas reports.
• Maintain inventory of parts on service vehicle.
• Keep maintenance team leader informed of significant problems or progress.
• Comply with OHSA, ESA, and other regulatory laws and company safety policies.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Minimum 1 year experience in car wash plumbing and mechanical.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge and use of hand tools.
• Basic computer and networking skills.
• Self‑motivated learning from manufacturer’s training, manuals, and service bulletins.
• Forklift experience or ability to obtain certification.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Adherence to vehicle and personnel policies.
• Professional appearance.
• Physical ability to lift 75 lbs, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Decision‑making capability.
• Knowledge of low‑voltage, single/three‑phase power, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Reading electrical and hydraulic schematics and installation drawings.
• Metal fabrication and welding/assembling experience with copper, PVC, and stainless‑steel.

• Lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Repeating bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, or grasping motions.
• Cl ladders and standing for prolonged periods.
