Job Overview:
As a Cosmetic Sales Colleague (Beauty Advisor), you are the trusted expert our customers turn to for all things beauty. You create a personalized and inspiring shopping experience that builds confidence and drives sales. You’ll educate, demonstrate products, and provide tailored consultations that may include makeup application and skincare recommendations. Build lasting client relationships through consistent follow-up, virtual outreach, and personalized service to exceed expectations and sales goals.

How our Beauty Colleagues spend their day: they begin energized, greet teammates, review goals, stay informed on new arrivals, and engage, educate, and sell with confidence. They focus on the customer, maintain a shoppable space, and finish strong by sharing Loyalty program benefits and thanking customers. They support one another to deliver excellent service and strive for continuous improvement.

Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week; part-time colleagues 12-24 hours per week. All schedules include weekend shifts. Hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
• Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
• Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
• Deliver personalized beauty experiences by building relationships with customers, uncovering needs, demonstrating product application, and educating on benefits and use of beauty products
• Drive sales and client loyalty by maintaining an organized and shoppable space, leveraging clienteling tools, promoting offers and product launches, and staying up to date through ongoing training
• Meet and surpass daily sales goals by delivering exceptional service
• Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
• Effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions
• At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience required

• Talking, lifting, constant movement, standing, and reaching with arms and hands
• Standing for at least two consecutive hours; lifting at least 25 lbs; stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, reaching above eye level
• Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
• Frequent use of computers and technology, including handheld equipment and cash register operations
