Residential Sales Manager

Pella is seeking a Residential Sales Manager to lead a high‑performing team of in‑home sales consultants. In this role, you’ll shape the sales strategy, develop top talent, and help grow our market share—all while ensuring every homeowner interaction reflects the Pella standard of excellence.
What You’ll Do- Lead, coach, and develop a team of in‑home sales consultants
- Spend 50%+ of your time in the field observing and coaching
- Drive team sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals
- Recruit and onboard high‑performing sales talent
- Foster a strong, collaborative team culture
- Support escalated customer issues and drive first‑time resolution
- Partner with Operations, Service, and Marketing teams
- Manage showroom/inside sales performance
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and performance presentations
- Work flexible hours to support customer and team needs
- The salary for this position is $118,000 plus monthly uncapped, override‑style bonus based on sales performance against plan. This is a performance‑based role with unlimited earning potential—our compensation plan rewards results. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, specific work geography, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
- This position includes standard IRS mileage reimbursement, paid training and ongoing leadership development, and a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401K match, paid time off, tuition assistance, and more).

- Proven leadership in sales, coaching, or team development
- 3–5 years of sales leadership experience
- Strong communication, presentation, and problem‑solving skills
- High sense of urgency, responsiveness, and customer focus
- Ability to motivate, influence, and inspire change
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software
- Clean, professional presence and adherence to company standards
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally
- Frequent driving to customer locations, job sites, and showrooms
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs using proper technique
- Comfortable working in both office environments and job sites
