Manager – BLISS Car Wash

Base pay range: $20.00/hr - $28.00/hr

Sign on Bonus: $1,500 after 90 days. Monthly Bonus up to $500 (up to $6,000 per year).

Responsibilities
  • Manage site team and improve/maintain a clean, efficient site.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper uniform attire.
  • Schedule site team following company policy.
  • Review and approve employee timecards.
  • Provide excellent guest experience by training the team on internal and external programs and building loyalty through the membership program.
  • Train the team on high level of product knowledge, package details, upgrades and membership program.
  • Follow through/train the team on offering the membership program to all guests.
  • Provide daily direction to the team and ensure safety and other compliance procedures are adhered to.
  • Anticipate, prevent, identify, and solve problems as necessary.
  • Train on-site open/close process and ensure the site is fully operational during business hours.
  • Accountable for providing strong, positive, and proactive leadership to the team while providing direction, feedback, and holding them accountable for performance and results.
  • Give Corrective Actions/Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) when needed following company policy/guidelines.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols for the team and guests.
  • Perform monthly OSHA training.
  • Train the team on monthly consumable inventory and ordering consumables.
  • Perform and train on after-hours site cleaning (tunnel equipment, tunnel floor, tunnel walls, tunnel pit, vacuum area, walkways, queuing area, etc.).
  • Ensure staffing levels meet site needs.
  • Interview, recruit, hire and train all car wash staff.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns, complaints, and inquiries efficiently.
  • Be flexible to step into any role necessary.
  • Responsible for compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
Experience & Qualifications
  • MUST HAVE CAR WASH MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE.
Knowledge
  • Maintain highest level of guest service.
  • Adapt to ever-changing high-volume car wash while working in a team environment.
  • Takes initiative when problems arise.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a variety of situations.
  • Attention to detail with capability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Work varied hours/days as business dictates (including Fridays & Saturdays).
  • Work at other locations as needed.
  • Improves staff performance through motivation, training, and setting clear expectations.
Leadership Skills
  • Written/verbal communication and documentation skills.
  • Multitask and organizational skills.
  • Lead, support, and contribute to team goals.
Language Skills
  • Communicate in English, both orally and in writing, clearly communicating operational concerns with Management and co-workers.
Working Conditions
  • Mainly outdoors and at times indoors.
  • Constant exposure to equipment fumes and cleaning solvents (dust, fumes, gases).
  • Constant temperature and conditions fluctuate (heat, cold, humidity).
  • Loud noise and vibration exposure.
Physical Demands
  • Lifts up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Flexible hours, night and day, weekends, and holidays.
  • Operate all related equipment.
Reporting Relationships

Reports to the District Manager/Operations Manager.
