Salary: $140,000 - $240,000 per year. A dynamic and established leader in workers' compensation defense, focusing on representing insurers, self-insured employers, and related entities with expertise in litigation, subrogation, serious and willful claims, and related employment matters in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

• Represent employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation claims and litigation before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board
• Handle all phases of case management, including discovery, depositions, motions, hearings, and trials
• Negotiate settlements and resolve liens effectively to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, briefs, and correspondence
• Analyze claims involving serious and willful allegations, subrogation, and related employment issues
• Collaborate with adjusters, clients, and internal team members to develop defense strategies
• Maintain accurate case files and provide regular status updates

• Active member in good standing of the California State Bar
• At least 1 year of experience practicing workers’ compensation law (defense preferred)
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
