Talent Manager, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Our company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Associate to join our Corporate Human Resources team.
This role plays a key part in supporting the HR Director in ensuring efficient HR operations, compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive employee experience across multiple entities.
The HR Associate will coordinate recruitment activities
, manage employee onboarding and offboarding
, maintain HR records, support benefits administration
, assist in employee relations
, and provide day-to-day HR operational support.
This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities in both English and Korean.
Key Performance Indicators- Timely and accurate execution of HR processes and documentation
- Confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information
- Effective communication and collaboration with employees and management
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Accurate data entry and reporting
- Professionalism in all employee interactions
- Extract, compile, and analyze HR data to prepare reports and ad hoc analyses using existing templates
- Coordinate full‑cycle recruitment, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
- Support onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring all documentation and training are completed
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date employee records in HRIS and personnel files
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and employee inquiries
- Provide support in employee relations by documenting discussions, tracking follow‑up actions, and informing the HR Director of issues
- Process employee status changes, promotions, and terminations in accordance with company policies
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and analyses as needed
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations and maintain required postings
- Coordinate training sessions, employee events, and HR initiatives to promote engagement and development
- Serve as a point of contact for HR inquiries and provide timely assistance to employees and managers
- Regularly review, update, and revise the Employee Handbook to ensure compliance with laws and company policies
- Develop, update, and maintain company policies and procedures, ensuring clear communication and alignment with organizational goals
- Perform other special projects and duties as assigned to support HR and company objectives
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in an HR support or generalist role, preferably in a corporate or multi‑entity environment
Skills &
Competencies:
- Bilingual in Korean and English (required)
- Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with HRIS systems preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
- Problem‑solving ability and sound judgment
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proactive, service‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
