This role offers exposure to strategic HR initiatives while focusing on operational excellence, team member support, and relationship building. Job DescriptionFunctions as a generalist in a variety of Human Resources activities. Typically serves in an organization where specialists are not fully deployed. Responsibilities may include a multitude of activities. May screen resumes and applications and may interview applicants. May counsel employees concerning work‑related problems, providing feedback to management when necessary. Conducts research and analyzes data on assigned projects. May assist with performance management, personnel policies and procedures.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Support onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits, and time‑off processes for team members.
- Maintain and distribute team member information, policies, and procedures.
- Assist with HRIS data management and reporting (Workday preferred).
- Serve as a first point of contact for team member inquiries and concerns.
- Participate in confidential communications, investigations, and documentation.
- Help deploy engagement surveys and support action planning.
- Coordinate training sessions, performance reviews, and development plans.
- Develop and collaborate with leadership on company‑led initiatives such as retention, turnover reduction, and change management.
- Drive HR analytics to improve business initiatives like turnover, workforce management/planning, etc.
- Collaborate in Lean practices and be knowledgeable about Lean methodologies.
- Ensure adherence to federal and state employment laws.
- Build trust quickly with business partners and front‑line team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of HR experience, preferably supporting front‑line team members.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
Workday experience a plus. - Spanish language skills a plus.
- Travel 1–2 times per quarter or as needed.
