Rehabilitation Aide at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange in Orange, CA. This position is Part time and will work 8-hour, Day shift.

Provides direct patient care services under the direction and supervision of a registered physical therapist in all assigned areas. Provides patient care services under direct supervision of an occupational therapist in all assigned areas. Responsibilities include observation of patient response to services and communication of observations of patient needs. Assists with patient, family, peer and community education.

Required Qualifications:

• Upon hire:
  National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: A student currently enrolled in a training program leading to licensure as a rehabilitation professional or similar worker.
• Upon hire:
  Certification as an aide (in any rehabilitation capacity) or a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) issued by an accredited program
• 6 months experience in any capacity in an acute care hospital.
• 6 months experience as an employee in a rehabilitation environment.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
