Position Details- Location:
Brea – Adult Day Services Senior Program - Hours:
Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am – 2:00 pm - Hourly Starting Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
- CPR/First Aid certification provided for Adult Day Services

- Supports daily activities using a variety of techniques to develop community life and safety skills.
- Assists individuals with planning, preparing, and executing weekly schedules aligned with ISP/IPP goals.
- Provides personal care assistance, including nutrition and hygiene support.
- Helps develop and implement service plans, assist with assessments, and attend stakeholder meetings for plan optimization.
- Maintains documentation: ISP, quarterly/annual evaluations, and case notes.
- Provides guidance to Personal Assistants as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR certification card and First Aid certificate.
- 1–2 years’ experience, or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to provide personal care and transfer individuals with limited mobility.
- Capacity to support wheelchair users on varied terrain and assist individuals with other mobility needs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interpret instructions.
- Teamwork orientation, solution‑oriented, creative problem‑solving.
- Adherence to ethical practices and ESSC core values.
- Tolerance for outdoor work in diverse weather conditions.
- Passing of post‑offer physical examination and TB test.
- Maintenance of a clear criminal record/fingerprint clearance as required by Easterseals or state laws.
- Potential use of personal vehicle for local transport, with required driving experience and compliance with safety standards.
- Carrying/Lifting:
Frequent, 0–30 lbs. - Standing:
Frequent, up to 5 hours/day. - Sitting:
Occasional, up to 3 hours/day. - Walking:
Frequent, up to 5 hours/day. - Repetitive motion/activity:
Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, pulling, kneeling, pushing wheelchairs. - Visual acuity:
Close distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, focus adjustment. - Travel:
Frequent. - Environmental exposure:
Constant exposure to noise, heat, dust, biofluids, and other hazardous conditions, both indoor and outdoor.
