Role DescriptionMortgage Land Capital is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. Underwriter to join our team in Brea, CA. This is a full-time, on-site position with a clear growth path—the company’s goal is to train the Jr. Underwriter into a fully qualified Underwriter. This role offers a unique opportunity to build a career in mortgage underwriting within a supportive, hands‑on environment.
Qualifications- Skills in financial analysis, credit assessment, and risk evaluation
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with mortgage industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an on‑site setting
- 1‑2 years in a mortgage related field.
