We are looking for an experienced Estimator - Prefabrication to join our team and play a key role in advancing prefabrication excellence across all phases of our projects.

Position Summary

The Estimator - Prefabrication is responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for prefabrication projects. This role involves reviewing bid requests, interpreting project drawings and specifications, and ensuring that estimates are both competitive and aligned with NGi's quality standards. The ideal candidate will have advanced experience in estimating software and a strong understanding of materials, production rates, and prefabrication systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review bid requests, drawings, and specifications to develop accurate project estimates.
  • Use Quick Bid, On-Screen Takeoff, and/or Buzzbid software to prepare cost projections.
  • Identify scope, inclusions, and exclusions in all proposals.
  • Independently manage all aspects of the bidding process and meet tight deadlines.
  • Evaluate subcontractor bids, materials, and systems for accuracy and cost efficiency.
  • Support awarded projects by monitoring progress and verifying estimated performance.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of estimating experience in construction or prefabrication preferred.
  • Proficiency in Quick Bid and On-Screen Takeoff (OST) required;
    Buzzbid preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of metal studs, drywall, taping, lath & plaster, and EIFS.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
