Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 per year

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to champion continuous improvement and elevate internal quality metrics. You will lead efforts to reduce non-conformances, mitigate customer returns, and mentor junior team members, all while supporting production, auditing, and corrective programs.
Key Responsibilities- Employ Six Sigma and lean methodologies to reduce scrap and rework
- Lead corrective/preventive action programs to eliminate defects and returns
- Develop training for operators, inspectors, and QA personnel
- Manage customer returns through material review and corrective actions
- Conduct internal audits and follow up on corrective actions to meet quality standards
- Support customer audits and respond to corrective requests
- Select and train staff on product evaluation tools and software
- Develop and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM field
- Prior experience in aerospace or elastomer/plastics manufacturing preferred
- Strong working knowledge of QA standards and continuous improvement tools
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office, communication, and multitasking
- Self-motivated with leadership qualities and a sense of urgency
- Bonus if you hold ASQ, Lean, or Six Sigma certifications
