Position: Purchasing Assistant at Ultimate Staffing Brea, CA

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry/Purchasing Assistant to support our purchasing team and ensure up-to-date information is available for effective decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, proficiency with computer applications, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update records promptly in systems such as , Sage, and Excel to provide managers with up-to-date information on pending orders.
  • Conduct online research and data entry tasks to support purchasing operations.
  • Email vendors to request updates and communicate this information to the appropriate managers.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive and accurate reports in Excel for larger projects.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely updates.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in , Sage, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills for email correspondence with vendors.
  • Ability to create detailed and professional reports in Excel.
  • Self‑motivated, efficient, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
