• Lead the design and implementation of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Customer Identity (CIAM) solutions
• Define and maintain authorization policies using Open Policy Agent (OPA) and OpenFGA
• Develop robust integrations in Java to connect security ecosystems (Auth0, Ping Identity) to microservices
• Ensure scalability and security in distributed environments through participation in technical inceptions and refinements
• Mentor team members on technical decisions, code reviews, and security best practices (Secure Coding)

• Strong knowledge of IAM ecosystems, specifically Auth0 and Ping Identity
• Proficiency in Java (17+) and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Security)
• In-depth understanding of security protocols including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT, and SAML
• Experience with advanced authorization concepts such as RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC, and tools like OPA or OpenFGA
• Practical experience with developing secure RESTful APIs following OWASP Top 10 standards

• Experience with Spring Security Crypto and secret management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager)
• Familiarity with Zero Trust architectures
• Knowledge of security observability practices (Logging, Tracing, and Audit Logs)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and secure CI/CD pipelines
• Background in high-scale and mission-critical environments
