About the TeamYou will lead the entire Heetch & Fleetch operations in Angola, managing multidisciplinary local teams across Operations, Marketing, Customer Service, Sales, Finance, HR, and Admin. You will work closely with HQ teams in Barcelona and Paris, as well as with regional leadership in Africa.
What Your Role Will BeAs the General Manager for Heetch & Fleetch in Angola, you will be the owner of the entire P&L and operations for both entities in the country. This crucial role demands a highly entrepreneurial leader to drive significant growth, manage diverse teams, and oversee the full spectrum of our mobility and financial services offerings.
1. Operations & StrategyOversee the day-to-day operations of both Heetch and Fleetch in Luanda.
Manage the country's consolidated P&L and ensure alignment with group business plans and strategic objectives.
Implement and monitor operational processes to ensure efficiency, scalability, and regular reporting of activities and performance to HQ.
Drive local growth initiatives, identify new business opportunities, and represent the company in the community and with key local stakeholders.
2. Team Management & LeadershipRecruit, onboard, and manage all local teams (45 employees in operations, marketing, Customer Service, Sales, Finance, HR, and Admin).
Define objectives, assign tasks, and monitor execution across the organization.
Ensure team motivation and well‑being, leading cross‑functional collaboration between business development, fleet ops, driver ops, and ride‑hailing teams.
Animate the team, ensure their happiness, and communicate action plans to ensure flawless execution.
3. Business Development & Fleet Operations (Fleetch)Own the growth of both the passenger base (Heetch) and car/fleet acquisition (Fetch).
Manage relationships with fleet owners and key partners (car distributors, garages, insurance companies).
Oversee car allocation, driver performance, and debt collection processes for the financing arm.
Negotiate and secure long‑term partnerships with fleet owners and actively participate in fundraising and debt‑raising efforts for local operations.
4. Intelligence & Process ImprovementAnalyze market trends to generate insights for strategic decisions and local product needs.
Provide actionable, data‑driven analysis to HQ teams in Barcelona and Paris.
Adapt, improve, and create new processes to support business scale‑up and playbook best practices for the entire organization.
What Do You Need?We are looking for a natural leader with an owner’s mentality, ready to get their hands dirty and lead by example.
Experience: 5+ years of operations management or business consulting experience, with proven success in leading teams, optimizing processes, and delivering business goals.
Leadership: 3+ years of people management experience with high emotional intelligence and the ability to deliver outstanding results through others.
