Mid Level Data Engineer, Brazil

We are seeking a Mid-Level Data Engineer to support the build and operation of Azure-based data pipelines. This role focuses on execution, working under the guidance of a Senior Data Engineer and Data Architect to deliver reliable, business-ready datasets.

• Build and maintain Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines
• Implement SQL-based transformations and data cleansing logic
• Ingest data from APIs, flat files, and relational databases
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and issue remediation
• Monitor pipeline executions and resolve routine failures
• Document pipelines, transformations, and data logic
• Participate in code reviews and design walkthroughs

• Advanced English level
• Years of data engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory
• Solid SQL skills (joins, aggregations, basic performance awareness)
• Experience working with APIs or structured data ingestion
• Familiarity with Azure Data Lake or similar cloud storage
• Ability to follow defined patterns and engineering standards

• Exposure to financial or operational reporting data
• Experience supporting BI or analytics use cases
• Familiarity with data quality or testing frameworks

• Reliable delivery of assigned pipelines and transformations
• Low-defect, well-documented implementations
• Effective collaboration with senior engineers
