As a Backend Engineer, you’ll architect and scale the systems that fuel our AI products — powering everything from LLM agents to customer intelligence dashboards. You’ll work with large datasets, high-velocity event pipelines, and a modern stack including GraphQL, Big Query, Java Script , and Python.

• Design, build, and optimize Graph
  
  QL APIs that power real-time, data-rich interfaces

• Work across our data platform — ingesting, transforming, and querying massive datasets (primarily in Big Query)

• Develop backend systems in JavaScript/Type Script (Node.js) with Python components as needed

• Partner closely with frontend, AI, and product teams to support weekly sprint cycles and deliver new features quickly

• Build infrastructure for data ingestion, enrichment, and delivery across internal and customer-facing tools

• Optimize performance and scalability of our backend systems as the platform evolves

• Collaborate on architectural decisions and shape our engineering best practices

We run on weekly sprints, short feedback loops, and a tight-knit, collaborative culture. You’ll ship quickly, iterate constantly, and work across the stack to unblock teams and deliver outcomes. Autonomy, speed, and clarity are core to how we operate.

• 5+ years of backend development experience, ideally in fast-paced product environments

• Proficiency in GraphQL, Big Query, and JavaScript/Type Script (Node.js)

• Comfortable working with structured and unstructured data — you know how to make data useful and fast

• Experience building APIs and services that are performant, secure, and scalable

• Familiarity with Python — especially for data manipulation or integration tasks

• Strong collaboration skills and a bias for shipping

• Startup mindset — proactive, resourceful, and thrives in ambiguity

• Experience integrating with LLM or agent-based systems

• Built systems for sales intelligence, customer data platforms, or internal tools

• Familiarity with cloud infra (GCP/AWS), observability tools, and CI/CD workflows

• Comfort owning data pipelines end-to-end, from ingestion to query optimization

• Open-source contributions or personal backend/data projects
