This role is focused on providing high-quality medical care to patients while collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals. The Staff Physician will play a key role in patient management, documentation, and compliance with medical protocols, ensuring the best outcomes for patients. This role is working with one of our mission-driven, non-profit, healthcare clients serving communities across Imperial and Riverside Counties.
This role is focused on delivering high-quality outpatient care, managing chronic conditions, and collaborating closely with a supportive, interdisciplinary care team.
The position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a structured clinical environment that values compliance, teamwork, and continuous improvement. There are also opportunities to mentor medical students and APPs while supporting care delivery across multiple clinic sites.
Key Responsibilities- Provide highest standard of outpatient medical care to patients
- Take responsibility for accurate charting and documentation
- Manage cases for patients with chronic conditions
- Consult with Medical Director on diagnosis or management problems
- Arrange timely consultations with specialists
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to clinic improvement
- Prescribe essential medicine to patients
- Facilitate audits for compliance with State and Federal regulations
- Serve as preceptor for medical students and Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant students
- Participate in daily team meetings/huddles
- Support nursing staff in implementing policies and procedures
- Willingness to work off hours and overtime to attend to patients.
- Required to rotate between all the Health Clinics as needed.
Salary:
Comp Range: $325K+
Compensation: $325,000 per year.
