Minimum Job Expectations:

  • Participate in daily operations meetings to communicate information related to safety, environmental compliance, quality, and KPIs.
  • Maintain operations and laboratory skills, training, and qualification standards related to assigned responsibilities.
  • Perform all activities in accordance with Laboratory Procedures, Quality manuals, and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Perform the necessary duties to maintain housekeeping in the facility.
  • Initiate corrective action for process, safety, or environmental deficiencies.
  • Understand the use and location of emergency equipment in the plant Support and perform laboratory and operations functions.
  • Such as obtaining, handling and analyzing samples; making adjustments to operating equipment; performing routine lab and plant recordkeeping.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents and equipment data.
  • Ability to work 40 hours/week, nights, weekends, and callouts. May be required to work rotating shifts.
  • Willing to cross-train and work in all areas of facility.
  • Complete any additional responsibilities assigned by Plant Management.
Preferred Work Experience and

Education:
  • Minimum two years working as a laboratory technician. One year if the lab experience is in a plant environment or two years working as a plant operator.
  • Chemical Lab Technician Certification, Plant Operator Technology Certificate, or related skills and experiences gained in the military strongly preferred.
