Provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to Price Chopper customers. Responsible for cutting all meat in accordance with trim specifications and guidelines. Ensures the quality and freshness of the meat products cut for display in the meat case to promote optimal opportunity for sales. Must adhere to all corporate and state sanitation and safety procedures.

• Consistently provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times.
• Smile, make eye contact, and thank customers upon fulfilling requests.
• Maintain a neat, clean and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
• Cut and prepare meat using knives, saws, cubers and grinders; ensure proper wrapping, weighing and labeling of meat merchandise.
• Adhere to all corporate meat department procedures and standards (case layout and trim specifications).
• Follow proper sanitation and temperature guidelines, including corporate and state inspection standards.
• Receive all meat products delivered to the store (DSD and warehouse deliveries).
• Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a cutting test.
• Satisfactory performance reviews.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic literacy and computer skills.
