About the Position

This is a full-time, permanent outpatient opportunity ideal for an APRN who values autonomy while working within a multidisciplinary care team.
Position Overview
As a Nurse Practitioner (APRN) in an outpatient family medicine setting, you will:
Independently perform medical acts in accordance with Vermont APRN licensure standards
Provide comprehensive primary care to individuals and families across the lifespan
Emphasize health promotion, disease prevention, and whole-person wellness
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions
Educate patients and families to support informed healthcare decisions
Identify specialized teaching and learning needs
Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff
Contribute leadership and clinical expertise within the care team
Support efficient and cost-effective daily practice operations
Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education
You will work within a well-established regional medical group that includes specialties such as family practice, pediatrics, OB/GYN, cardiology, orthopedics, urology, general surgery, and post-acute care—ensuring strong referral networks and collaborative support.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 annually
Based on experience, education, internal equity, and market factors
Full-time position (1.0 FTE, 40 hours/week)

Candidate Requirements
Required:
Master’s Degree from an accredited Adult Nurse Practitioner program
Current Vermont APRN License (or ability to obtain prior to start)
DEA License
Healthcare Provider CPR Certification
Qualified for credentialing by medical staff
Clean malpractice history
Most recent NPDB Self-Query report (within 30 days at presentation)
Highly Preferred:
National board certification as an Adult, Family, or Pediatric NP
Two years of nursing experience prior to advanced degree
