Packager - 1st Shift (Temporary) - $18.50/hour

Join Lactalis American Group as a Packager on our 1st Shift (Temporary). This role involves moving products from the filler line to the prep area, ensuring quality and accuracy throughout the packaging process. You will work in a collaborative team environment, preparing and shipping yogurt containers, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting plant operations.

• Picking, sorting, and placing materials
• Preparing shipments
• Moving products using manual or motorized equipment
• Working on the assigned line to assist with the packaging of yogurt containers by way of machine and/or hand packing
• Uphold quality, safety, and cleanliness standards within designated areas
• Communicate with other team members to ensure efficient plant operations
• Set up the oncoming shift for a successful run
• Perform any duties necessary to support the team
• Obtain information necessary to perform duties at pre‑shift tailgate meetings and by meeting with outgoing employees
• Vigilantly monitor equipment operation for indications of impending problems and possible operational improvements
• Be trained to operate a pallet jack (no prior experience required)

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday – Friday
• One rotating Saturday per month
• Hourly Wage: $18.50

• Maintain food safety and quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner
• Required to wear food safety/sanitation clothing
• Conformance to personal hygiene regulations
• Report food safety problems to personnel with the authority to initiate action
• Ensure all programs are being upheld and documentation is current
