As the OR RN, you’ll be responsible for circulating and/or scrubbing across diverse surgical cases, maintaining patient safety throughout induction, positioning, procedure, and recovery. Key duties include preparing the OR, ensuring sterile technique, configuring supplies and equipment, verifying patient data and consent, coordinating with the anesthesia team, monitoring patient vitals, documenting intraoperative events, and supporting post-anesthesia care as needed. You’ll have opportunities to refine specialty skills—case coordination, instrument tracking, time management, and intraoperative problem-solving—while building leadership capabilities within the perioperative suite.
